  • Walk the Jurassic Coast – An absolute must-do, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the finest coastlines in the country. Situated within walking distance from Perrivale House. The walk from Ottery St. Mary to Sidmouth is particularly good. More info here.
  • Exe Estuary Trail – Walk or cycle from Exmouth to Topsham alongside the Exe Estuary, through the heart of Lympstone on the way. If you’re feeling energetic, why not go all the way to the historical Exeter Quay. If you get tired there’s a train along the same route. More info here.
  • Stuart Line Cruises – Choose from a variety of cruises, from up the Exe Estuary, to day trips to Sidmouth and Torquay; there are plenty of potential days out. More info here.
  • River Exe Cafe – Award winning restaurant situated on a floating barge in the centre of the Exe Estuary. Perfect on a summer evening. More info here.
